Travel brochures

Travel brochures are somewhat similar to other brochures but have higher quality images, keeping in mind that they need to give the right feel and impact to the places they advertise and campaign for.

The travel booklet doubles as a vacation guide and is filled with maps, photos of tourist sites, and information on attractions and places to visit. Information about the flora and fauna, climate, culture, history and geography of the places mentioned in the brochure should also be provided. An ideal travel brochure should also provide information about flights, routes, shortest way to get to a particular place, and other information. Apart from this, it should provide detailed information about accommodations – a list of hotels, motels, first-class hotels, and mid-range accommodations.

A travel brochure differs from other brochures in that the writing style is persuasive – the perfect travel brochure leaves a strong impact on the potential traveler and compels him to visit the places mentioned within. However, while playing with words and creating the correct images, care must be taken to ensure that you do not get carried away – the information must be correct and factual. It must enable people to make informed decisions – care must be taken that text or visuals do not convey a misleading impression, so that travelers are not disappointed when they actually visit the places mentioned in the brochure.

One must also be prepared for somewhat higher expenses when producing a travel brochure. By their very nature, travel brochures need high-quality printing to make the visuals as attractive as possible. The images should speak to the intended target base. Ideally, travel brochures should be in full color and creatively designed, with several folds to present more images in neat sections. In the end, the best travel brochure is the one that succeeds in increasing the flow of tourists.
